Learn to sail as a team!

The children and young people have fun learning about the unique world of sailing and can successfully lead a sailing boat as a team after the course.
Course description
TheJunior Basic Course is the ideal continuation from the Optimist to a larger boat or a good introduction to the world of sailing from the age of 10. The basic manoeuvres are taught and the kids experience the fascination of sailing. According to our motto "learning by sailing", the emphasis of the training is on practice.
Requirements
- No previous sailing experience necessary
- Age: 10 years
- Swimming skills

Learning objectives
Independent navigation of a boat, correct assessment of one's own skills and positive completion of the junior basic licence examination;
Completion
The Junior Basic Licence confirms that the practical and theoretical examination for the basic sailing licence has been passed.

Take along
There is no such thing as bad weather - only the wrong clothes!
What the children should have with them:
- Comfortable and sporty clothing,
- Spare clothes,
- Shoes with non-slip soles that can get wet (old trainers, sneakers,... - flip flops are not suitable),
- Rainwear (if available),
- Sun protection
- Drinks (or small change for the vending machine)
Prices
Basic course € 325,-
The course fee includes materials (boats), life jackets and, if required, oilskins (rain gear).
Additional costs - optional:
Basic licence issue fee: € 25,-
Script: € 6,-
Goggles strap: € 7,- (if necessary)
Lunch supervision: € 22,- per day (includes lunch menu & drink and supervision)

from 1st July 2024 every week during the summer holidays
Course times:
Monday to Wednesday: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm
Thursday and Friday: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
